Tonight our little co-op football team had its first home game of the season. They played a really tough team, didn't score, and lost by some embarrassing number I don't remember. But we enjoyed the game and the time with our community.
This is how Sylvia enjoyed the game.
Annah sang the national anthem before the game and did a BEAUTIFUL job! Super proud of her!!!
A week ago, Annah predicted that there was "no way" they would be marching their entire show with music on the field tonight. But they did! We always love watching the marching band, even more so now that we have a kid out there! And she absolutely loves it.
This video includes the band marching onto the field, an announcement about a child named "Bubba" who was lost from his parents at the game, the entire show "You're A Good Man, Charlie Brown," the school fight song, and the march off the field--including the crowd favorite monster stomp. (If you find Annah at the beginning she is the clarinet at the end of the line on the right side of the screen.)
