Hop-A-Thon

Annah participated in her school's Hop-A-Thon today. She hopped 233 in 2 minutes! We were pretty impressed--and thankful we only pledged 25cents/hop instead of $1. ;)

I would love to say they were just sitting here snuggling together, but the truth is that I put Caeden next to Sylvie in the chair and had to keep sitting him back down over and over again to get a picture! He just won't sit still for more than 2 seconds. ;) He's definitely a bouncing boy!

Praying for Sophia

Sorry we haven't updated much lately. 

Our minds and hearts are consumed with thoughts and prayers for our friends. Last night we took them dinner and had the opportunity to visit with them for a short while. I was blessed to sit in Sophia's room talking with her mom and watching her sleep for half an hour. You can feel the presence of God is with this amazing family in everything they think, do, and say. They are amazing people, living in the strength of their Lord. We continue to pray boldly for God to heal Sophia.

Climber

Caeden is now in love with CLIMBING! You can see we have to keep the keyboard on top of the monitor when we are not using the computer, or he tries all kinds of "technological experiments." He also loves to turn the monitor on and off.

No thumb-sucking reward

We took the kids to Chuck E. Cheese's today as Annah's reward for stopping thumb-sucking. We got there in the morning before it was too crowded and had a good time.

Caeden was fascinated by farmer Barney on the tractor.

For some crazy unknown reason, I put all 3 kids in the tub at the same time. I decided to get the camera, because (hopefully) I will (probably) never have this idea again!

Broccoli Boy

We weren't sure if it was because he had a stuffy nose and couldn't taste anything or what, but Caeden ate a whole, big bowl full of broccoli about as fast as he could! Not typical for him...or many toddlers, probably!

I called in to the Christian radio station (WBGL - 91.7 FM) this morning... They were talking about songs you sing to your kids to wake them up. So, I called in and sang "Good Morning My Baby" to the deejays. They both said, "Wow! That was great! I love that one!" But, I don't know if they played it or not, because I called while we were on the way to Annah's school, and if they did play it, we missed it while we were inside the school! I heard say later that they had one lady call in with a really great song, but I don't know if they meant me or someone else...

Walker

Caeden is really walking quite a bit now. It is hard to get used to seeing him moving around upright! Today we were in his room, and I was refilling his diaper stacker...I turned around and he was just walking across his room to get a toy. I just felt really sentimental about seeing him walking around his room. I'm a sap, I know. He's almost 16 months old, he should be walking! I'm just not used to it!

Scrap Weekend "Away"

This past weekend I was able to get away for a couple days with friends and scrapbook at a local hotel. It was fun, relaxing, refreshing, and exhausting. We stayed up late and ate a lot, and even managed to get some scrapbooking done too! All of us had different scrapping styles, so it was really great to share ideas and supplies too. Jeremy had the kids all to himself from Friday evening until Sunday morning. They all seemed to have fun together too.

Blessed with Three

Jeremy took this picture. It is much like one he took a few years ago, when there was only one pair of shoes on the stairs, and he was thinking about how many sizes and pairs of shoes would sit there throughout Annah's life. And now, we are blessed to have 3 little sets of feet and 3 sets of shoes on the stairs! Thank you Lord!!
