Ahh, summer!  Time to play with ride-on toys and bikes in Gram's and Krampa's driveway...

We like to hop on the hexagonal pavers and look for puzzle rocks and pretty stones.

We finally took some time to work on these fleece blankets--a project Gram gave us to do a long time ago.  The blankets will be given to hospitalized children.  

After supper tonight, I had the honor of joining Mom in taking Tessa to see her Mommy and Daddy at the "hossible" (We rode up and down in the "alligators" too!) and meet her baby brothers!

Playing Together

The show choir dresses are still out today, so Tessa got to have her turn playing in one.

I could watch this video a million times just to hear her say, "Look, Aunt Taryn!" and twirl around grinning!  Sweetie pie!

To my kids he is Krampa (what Annah named him), and to Tessa he is Pampaw, and he helped her ride her tricycle today.

My kids call her Gram, and Tessa calls her Mamaw.

Annah is big enough to ride Gram's bike now.  The kids spend a lot of time riding bikes up and down the driveways while we are here.

We wanted to try getting a good picture of the kids together, and Sylvia tested the light in this spot for me.    I need to take some official portraits of all the kids soon!

We had a couple antsy kids in the mix, but 3 of the pictures are okay.  For those who might be choosing for printing purpose we'll call them:

These 3 rascals wouldn't sit long together and cooperate either.

These two beauties did pretty well...Wish I had done their hair and picked out their clothes this morning, but oh well.

The early spring has brought the flowers up early here too...

Jeremy rode 80 miles on his bike this morning. His most frequent comment the rest of the day has been, "Driving makes more sense!"

Last night Jeremy and I got to go on a date! All by ourselves!  For one of the few times since well before Caeden was born! We were in such a state of shock, we didn't know what to do! We had a nice time though. I finally got to go see Jeremy's new work area, and meet a few of his very nice coworkers. We ate dinner at a great Chinese restaurant, and went to a few other places.

Caeden did get tooth number six yesterday! When he went to the doctor on Monday, he weighed 19 pounds, 1 ounce. He now says, "Ma ma ma," "Gah," and other sounds. He is starting to get a little personality on him! He's such a happy, content little guy all the time.
