Family Portraits

As part of my parents' 50th wedding anniversary gift, Travis and I promised we would hire a professional photographer to come out to the farm to take a family portrait of all twelve of us. Today was the day, and the fabulous Aimee C did an excellent job!  She worked so quickly and efficiently, and it only took about half an hour! (We were all very thankful, because it was crazy hot and humid!!!)

More Senior Portraits

Shelby came over today, and she and Annah and I went up to the school to take some senior portraits.   They love the stage, and wanted to have some portraits in some of their favorite places around the school.  I was nervous about lighting, but we came away with some decent shots.

This is backstage.  Everyone signs the backs of the flats after a show.

This is one of my favorites.  The girl is always barefoot.  And this quote is very special to her, partially because she sang a song at solo/ensemble in junior high that had it as part of the lyrics.
