Today was the 4th anniversary of our church's launch. We had a nice celebration.

At the end of the service, there were several special announcements, including changes in staff. Pastor Angela (who is also stepping out of a staff position) and I received roses and cards, and Pastor Todd prayed a blessing over us.
Though I never would have said I felt "called" to serve as administrative assistant, I really enjoyed the work and especially being part of the staff. I will miss that part, but I am glad to have a change in my life. It really does help a person get some perspective on life when things change.
So this afternoon while the kids were at youth group, I enjoyed the beautiful weather and worked on a sweater shrug I'm making for Sylvia.
