Our precious girl turned into a teenager today! (That does not negate the preciousness, by the way.)
I decorated the door at the bottom of our stairs for her with a big banner I drew, and streamers.
Annah LOVES balloons, and she was really excited about the bunch of helium balloons at the breakfast table!
I made blueberry muffins for breakfast, and we also had mango--which is one of Annah's favorites I don't buy very often.
Annah's Family and Consumer Science class had a party at school today, and she took a layered jello mold she made last night to share. After school, we went quickly to town for Caeden's guitar lesson, then back home. Daddy was already greeting trick-or-treaters and handing out as much candy as possible. None of our 3 wanted to go trick-or-treating this year.
Annah requested some of her favorites for her birthday dinner--chicken fettucine alfredo and peas (because Caeden has an intense hatred for them so we rarely have them), and the favorite angel food cake.
Annah loved the balloons and streamers in the living room.
After the trick-or-treating sort of subsided, Annah opened her big pile of presents!

an infinity scarf I crocheted for her, crystal violin earrings and necklace, the beginning of a sweater I'm crocheting, a winter coat that doesn't fit and will have to be exchanged
What a sweet girl and a sweet day! Her cake is angel food with pistachio icing, and she asked for raspberry and orange sherbets. :)
What joy she brings to our lives!
I pray she will enjoy her teen years!
