My voice student Allison has been with me for about 6 years now, and she is a high school senior now. She's preparing to go off to college next year and major in Worship Arts at Greenville College. She had a preview day on campus there today, and a scholarship audition too. She asked me to come along to accompany her on her audition, and invited Annah to come along to see the school.
It is a lovely place! It was a gorgeous day to walk around campus as well. I tried to snap some pictures while walking, but we had a pretty full schedule and I didn't get many.

The girls art teacher asked them to take a photo with a piece of artwork they saw on campus. They chose this awesome statue of Jesus the Divine Servant washing the feet of one of his disciples.

We loved the entire day. Allison did very, very well on her audition (despite a sinus infection), and was awarded the maximum scholarship amount. Annah loved the small feeling of the campus, and we loved the warm and welcoming atmosphere from worship at chapel with the students in the morning, to hearing about all the service activities happening on campus and in the community, to seeing students and faculty joining in a peaceful prayer walk around campus this afternoon. Greenville is definitely a place Annah will be considering post high school.
