This school year a new 20 minute "advisory period" class met at the end of each day. There were team-building activities, opportunities to look at current grades and go meet with teachers about missing/incomplete assignments or questions about the grades, and special class projects completed during this time. The girls both enjoyed this.
Today, Annah's advisory teacher gave her group little treat bags that included candy and bubbles. As soon as we got home after music lessons today, Annah got out her bubbles and blew some from the front porch.
I can't express how much I love this kid. I love that she is going into high school in a few months, but still takes joy in little things like blowing bubbles.
