Late this morning, Mom and Dad came out to the house, and we just relaxed in the living room and chatted for a couple hours. It was so nice to just visit and enjoy each others' company.
Then I drove us in to visit Jeremy at his place of employment. We stopped in the company store looking for chocolate, but didn't find any there. I did buy a can of BEER NUTS almonds for them; it's another local company.
I didn't realize until today when Jeremy took us into the front of the corporate building that there is a museum in it!
There is a lot of awesome company memorabilia included. We enjoyed checking it out.
There is even a real Ford Model-T!
And a very old Mack firetruck...
It was pretty neat to learn a little more about the company that has helped sustain our family for the past 16 years.
