We were so excited when Travis & Erin said they were going to visit us for Christmas! We hadn't seen them since September, and knew Tessa was growing and changing by the day!
They arrived Thursday evening--Christmas Eve Eve. ;) We had dinner together, and watched Santa Claus Is Coming To Town. After the kids went to bed, the grown-ups watched Date Night. It wasn't as funny as we thought it would be, but still had some funny lines.
Tessa snuggled up on Erin's lap and fell asleep while we were watching the movies...so sweet. What a blessing to see my brother and sister-in-law celebrating their baby's first Christmas!

On Friday morning, we tried to sleep in a little, but didn't make it much past 8:00 a.m. We had some cinnamon rolls and got around to opening gifts mid-morning.

Travis received the original 1968 game Battling Tops. We used to play it at Grandma Mc's, but don't know what happened to the one she had. This one came from Maine by way of eBay. ;)

Jeremy has wanted a Jet Tone mouthpiece for his trumpet for a long time, and was really happy to receive this one, which used to be Travis'. He has tested it out and says he really likes it!

Travis, Erin, & Tessa, we are so glad you could come for a visit! We appreciate you making us a stop on your busy trip of traveling during Christmas weekend! And we thank you for the gifts, and for bringing your love and laughter to our home! We love you!
