We made it to Columbia City in time for their fireworks display tonight! We joined my parents and Tessa at Patsy's and Ed's house.
It was tough to see the fireworks from there, but we had fun watching. A few people had lit paper lanterns that were floating across the sky like in the movie Tangled. The kids played with the glow necklaces I'd brought. And we were eaten alive by mosquitos!! Wow! I remember having bites all over me every summer when I was a kid, but I kind of forgot how bad they are in Indiana! We rarely see a mosquito where we live, thankfully. Regardless of the bugs, we had a nice time.
