This evening my friend Megan and her husband Fred and boys Caleb and Connor hosted us for supper at their home on the south side of Arrowsmith. Our schedules are so different, but we were able to plan ahead and get it squeezed into the calendar!
Fred went all out on the food! He made smoked applewood teriyaki grilled chicken--and that includes using real wood from an apple tree! We also had baked potatoes and homemade guacamole that was amazing! And then, for dessert he baked THE BEST cheesecake I've ever had!
It was pumpkin, and he made whipped cream with cinnamon in it to top! It was all incredible!!!!
We had such a nice time getting our families together! I'm so thankful God has provided us wonderful friends right here in our little village!
