After the band's performance, each member of the fall sports teams (golf, volleyball, cross country, and football) was announced.
Then the members of the homecoming court were announced.
Annah and Ryan were first.
We didn't catch the beginning of Annah's announcement, which said, "Annah Lopshire is the daughter of Jeremy and Taryn Lopshire. Her activities in high school have included..." but that list goes on and on. What I loved most about Annah being part of the homecoming court was that when she was asked to share some words to live by, she chose Mathew 5:43-44, and everyone who was present tonight got to hear the words of Jesus, spoken over the loud PA system!

After everyone was announced, and had joined the line, and many, many pictures had been taken, it was time for the king and queen to be announced!
Ryan is the homecoming king!
He waved and said hi to his little sister, Anne, so sweet!
Then Grace was crowned homecoming queen!

Then it was time for the bonfire!
Annah was not sad or surprised not to win queen. She has enjoyed every moment of getting to be part of the court, and has been so honored that her classmates chose her!
