Caeden has complained of a sore throat the past few days, and I finally looked in with a flashlight this morning and saw that it was swollen and red in there, with some white spots. Ew.
I took him to the immediate care doctor this afternoon, and he really enjoyed the lovely gag-me test they do for strep throat. The good thing was that it came back negative, though! Doc said he does have some kind of infection, but it will go away on its own.
I keep telling the kid that if he would actually clean his mouth instead of wag a toothbrush around for 5 seconds, he wouldn't grow nasty things in his throat. But, I'm just Mom; I don't know much. ;)
