Today Annah traveled to North Central College in Naperville to compete on the RHS WYSE Team at Sectionals. NCC is where Jeremy spent his first 2 years of college. He loved it there, and has lots of fond memories at NCC. One of his closest NCC friends, wrestling teammate, and roommate, Craig Fischer, passed away in the spring of 1996, and some NCC friends and faculty planted a tree on campus in his memory. Wednesday evening, Jeremy explained to Annah where to find the tree, so she took a few quick seconds between her exams to find it and take a couple pictures.
We last visited NCC as a family in 2010,
so the tree has grown quite a bit since the last time Annah saw it.

She took exams in English and Chemistry, and said while she was taking the Chemistry exam she was thinking about the fact that her daddy could have had classes in that very room, since he started as a Chemistry major at NCC. She thought that was a pretty cool thing! She also really liked the campus and the small feeling of the school, and has it on her list of colleges to consider.
