This evening was really special. Pastor Todd and Kim took the entire PoC staff and our families to Peoria for an evening full of fun. A mini-bus was rented so all 23 of us could ride together.
Jeremy and I sat in the very back, and took a horrible series of selfies.
Our first stop was Sugar Peoria. They were great to accommodate our large group, and we enjoyed the wood-fired pizzas.
Pastor Todd asked me to put together a video of the staff families photos from this past year. Pastor Scott and Chris were great to figure out how to get it to show on the tv at the restaurant.
Pastor Karin shared a story-style version of the Martha and Mary story, and Pastor Todd challenged us to choose the better part--not just working for Jesus, but rather choosing to sit at His feet and working from Jesus.
Next, we went to the Peoria Riverfront Museum to watch a movie at the Giant Screen Theater there.
We all thoroughly enjoyed seeing this again:
Then, we enjoyed a drive through Folepi's Winter Wonderland.
It was a pretty lovely evening together with lots of people we love. Thank you, Pastor Todd and Kim.
