Both girls had appointments with the orthodontist today.
For Annah, it was a consultation. Dr. B. assessed her and determined she needs quite a lot of work done in there! She is actually glad about getting braces, as she has been pretty self-conscious about her smile for a while.
We decided to stay and have diagnostic work done while we were already there today...
We also learned today that Sylvia will need another phase of braces. Doc said she is at the beginning of the window of when treatment can start, and left the decision up to us whether to wait or get started soon. Sylvia wants to get it over with now, with hopes she can play her horn in high school without braces.
So...there were diagnostics for her today too...
This is the process that was the hardest for her 2 years ago when she was 9, so I prayed for her while the technician worked on her today. She was very fast, and thankfully, the process took less than 6 minutes this time!
It's a blessing that we all love Dr. B. and his staff. They are funny, kind, and caring.
We'll be seeing a lot more of this place soon...
After over 2 1/2 hours there, we made our next appointment and stopped around the corner at Moe's for a late, late lunch.
