Mr. Metz built 9 blocks for us for the play, and they look great!  We will use them to represent various furniture and set pieces in each scene, as we are keeping things as simple as possible set-wise for this show.  We are using the curtains for the backdrop instead of putting up flats and painting them.  We will have 9 scene changes, so being able to use blocks and just move/rearrange them a bit will be a new way of doing things for these kids and a good way to invite the audience to use their imaginations as well.

The eyeball costumes came in, and Briahnna and Adam tried them on at rehearsal!  One of them is less than enthused about them.  I think they look great!

We took a all cast (actors) photo this week.

 Love this group!

I spent most of the day at school today painting the blocks. Shelby came during her study hall and helped.  They dried quickly enough that I could get all sides painted with 2-3 coats.

It was not only unseasonably cold today...

...but it snowed for several hours!!!

So odd to have hours of snow on October 12!?!
