This week so far

Just posting some random photo moments...

Caeden and Sylvia attempted to pick Jeremy up 1 inch off the ground.  They were not successful.  But, when I took the feet and each of them took an arm, we managed to get him 1 inch off the ground for a second.  He said he felt great knowing that all of us wouldn't be able to carry us out of the house if it were burning, but said he would still carry all 4 of us by himself if that were the case.

The girls both got up very early on their day off school Monday to go to ILMEA auditions.  Sylvia auditioned for both choir and band, and Annah only auditioned for the choir this year.  I'm really, really proud of them for working so hard and learning so much music for auditions.  I didn't help Annah prepare at all, and Sylvia I only helped a little.  They were very well prepared and enjoyed the day of auditions.

Caeden and I had "favorite lunch" together on Monday while the girls were gone!  It's a tradition we started when he was in preschool, and it's always fun to share.

Earlier in the week, we noticed a couple lumps on one side of Caeden's neck.  They aren't going away, so I took him to Immediate Care this evening to have them checked out.  The doctor is treating them as lymph nodes swollen by lingering infection from his recent sicknesses--with antibiotics.

We dropped his prescription off at the pharmacy, and went to grab a bite at Sonic.  The sun set between the time we placed our order and when it came out to us, so the lights came on.  Caeden thought it was such a cool place, and that the lights made it even more fun.  He loved that the servers came out to the cars on roller blades or skates too.

And, he was thrilled that they have tater tots on the menu AND that he could get them with cheese on them too!  And he was pretty excited about the big ol' bacon cheeseburger he ordered too!  He said it was really, really good.  I was just glad he was thoroughly enjoying the Sonic experience, because we waited 2 hours for his prescription to be filled!

We decided it was nice to have a little unplanned time together.
