We celebrated our #1 Daddy this morning before church. We gave him cards--one from the kids that plays You're Unbelievable, and some little gifts. Sylvia made him this great trophy.
I gave him these books, Dads and Daughters, and Dads and Sons, by Dr. James Dobson.
Jeremy is a constant sacrificer; he really "does it all" and is behind the kids and me 100% in everything we do. He rarely "gets his way," but always does what others need. Yes, there are days when he works late, but he works very hard to support our family and we are proud of him. He is always there for us when we need him. He has been the biggest supporter of our decision for me to be at home with our kids while they are growing up, even though it puts more stress on him to provide.
He knows how to bring laughter into our home in the most critical moments, and comfort and calmness in the midst of calamities. And, I am so incredibly thankful for the laughter!! (I tend to be waaaaay too serious a lot of the time, though Jeremy has been teaching me over the years how to loosen up.) Humor and laughter is one of my favorites of Jeremy's many gifts.
We are so blessed to have this man in our lives, and we love him more than we know how to show!
