Caeden and I were so blessed to get to have brunch with G'ma Sandi at Fort Jesse Cafe today!
Caeden realized he knew so little about this woman who has supported and encouraged him in SO much, so he asked her. She told us about how she got into being an air traffic controller when she was a young woman starting her family, and how she had to work extra hard to prove she could do it when men were telling her on a daily basis that she would never make it. She made a great career out of it! She also did professional clowning, was a very successful real estate agent, and has done a lot of other really cool things.
It was awesome to just be able to sit and chat with her for a couple hours, and we hope we will get to do that more often! We love G'ma Sandi!
