Since we were up really late last night and Mom and Dad couldn't stay long this morning, we all stayed home from church and slept in a little--except Jeremy.
The girls watched High School Musical with Tess.
Caeden and Gram played a quick game of Monopoly.
Meanwhile, at church, Jeremy was having a performance of his own...
The current sermon series at church is "Sex and Money and Work and Sex and Money." Today Pastor Todd talked about how our culture is constantly trying to tell us to do things that God says are wrong, and he encouraged the congregation to get angry about it and say, "We're not gonna take it anymore!" Of course, he asked for some help getting that point across, and Jeremy was happy to step up to the challenge and "do it up"--just as Pastor Todd asked.
The funniest part was that Pastor Todd somehow didn't see that Jeremy was wearing zebra leggings until he had been on stage several minutes already. On the video, that happens at about 1:05...

Annah and I went up to the school this afternoon and put away as much set, props, costumes, etcetera as we could. As we were getting ready to leave, Shelby drove up, so we did a little more work. As we opened one of the storage closets to see if we could find some room to store our blocks, we discovered that the third Audrey II plant puppet from Little Shop of Horrors had been all chewed up by mice. The girls were really upset to see it that way, because they had loved working on that musical and had spent hundreds of hours making the plants. We went back to the prop/costume closet to check on the two smaller puppets, and they are still ok.
