Good Friends

Last night, while the girls were at Ashley's birthday party, Caeden and Sammy had a fun evening at our house.  They ate lots of pizza, and watched the Lego Padawan Menace DVD that always makes us laugh.  

The boys went to bed at a decent time, and had the whole day to play together today.  They played with Legos, watched High School Musical 3 (They love the song, "The Boys Are Back!") and both the old and new versions of The Lorax.  

This evening when the Stambaughs brought the girls home, they were able to stay for supper with us.  The kids sat in the kitchen and the grown-ups ate in the living room.  It was a shorter visit, but so wonderful to have some time with them.  

We absolutely loved seeing them pretty much every day when they lived 3 houses down from us, and it's really pretty surprising how seldom we see them even though the only live 25 miles away from us now.  So, even short suppers together are a major blessing!  I'm so glad the girls have maintained their friendship, because it is a great reason for us to maintain ours!
