Caeden finally made it through high school. He has been done with it for a long time mentally, but he finally officially finished. We are so thankful!
Here is his senior write up from the little local paper:
5th graders created presentations about all of the Ridgeview graduates, and Max created his about Caeden. He did a great job presenting it to the 2nd grade class I've been subbing in this semester.

While getting ready for Caeden's open house yesterday, Jeremy discovered the Prius had a flat tire. He was driving it because the Civic (aka The Tonka) is in the shop from hitting a deer. It's been a chain of bad luck with cars and driving this year for Caed.
Caeden decorated his poster about what he's doing next: This summer he's working for the Epiphany Farms family of restaurants, then in August he's going to Full Sail University in Orlando for a 2-year bachelor's degree program in Music Production.

We decided to have Krispy Kreme donuts instead of cake or cupcakes, and that led to a breakfast food theme for the party. It went over very well.

Caeden doesn't really keep things like award certificates, medals, trophies, etc. He tends to lose or destroy them. So, I printed a lot of photos for his display boards.

So many family and friends came to Caeden's open house to celebrate and congratulate him. The support was overwhelming--especially all of the teachers who were there every day through high school and before.
Oh he opened every card and gift before leaving the party...but probably won't write any thank you notes. I apologize for his scatteredness.
Caeden's friend Alex wasn't able to attend the party because his sister was graduating from college today, but he left a very special gift on our doorstep--a portait/sketch of Caeden that he made! So awesome!
Caeden was overjoyed to receive a quilt designed and made just for him by his Gram. Amazing!!! He loves it and his Gram (a.k.a. "Talls") so much.
What a wonderful, blessed day! Thank you Lord Jesus for getting this boy through high school. It was overall a terrible time in his life, and the relief of completing and saying goodbye is huge!
