Last Friday I subbed in a classroom all day before noticing this bucket that was sitting next to me at the teachers desk. Today, I participated in a class brainstorming session and a school assembly about ALICE (Active Shooter Response Training), and I learned that there is a bucket like this in every classroom in the school. While I am really glad our school does this training, it about breaks my heart that we live in a time when it's necessary.
