The Pledge

One of Annah's homework assignments for this evening was to rewrite the Pledge of Allegiance in her own words.

I like what she came up with:

I promise to respect the flag 

of the United States of America, 

and our country, 

run by the people, 

one country, 

ruled by God,

that cannot be divided, 

with freedom and fairness 

for everyone.
