This evening, Sylvia asked if she could use markers to make a craft. A few minutes later she said, "Here Mommy, I wrote my name." I said, "Oh okay, Sylvia, let's see..." Here it is! I've never shown her how to make any letters, and it was just days ago that I realized she solidly knew how to spell her name. I guess she just figured it out on her own! Now, it's obviously not perfect, but she was creative enough to go back to the beginning with the last 2 letters when she ran out of room. We were just amazed that she did it on her own!
